This century farmhouse was taken straight down to the studs. New electrical, plumbing and HVAC went in first to ensure comfort and function for the family. Then the fun part began! Every surface was changed or updated.

This kitchen had eight doorways, adding access to every other part of the house.
One could easily find them overwhelming but with their beautiful rustic wood and mouldings they welcomed you (from every direction) to this fabulous kitchen.

The clients did not want to lose any storage, so we added a transom window above the cupboards to let natural light in. 10-foot ceilings could be found in each room.
The clients were not afraid of colour, but we kept most rooms neutral, adding pops of colour with curtains and accent chairs. This ensured they could be easily switched out when they had their next colour love affair.

By adding a covered wrap around porch this family could enjoy the warm summer breezes in their hammocks even on the dreariest days.
